Occupy Toronto 2011

In the year 2011 the people of the world woke from their 25 year slumber and found out they had been fucked while they slept, without even the courtesy of a kiss on the back of the neck. The government which were supposed to represent the people had been replaced by corporate lackeys representing the elitists. It was a gradual change, similar to a person gaining 5 lbs. a year .. you don't notice at first but after 25 years that person is 125 pounds heavier, a beast, a glutton consuming everything in it's path. Around the planet citizens began to form together and ask questions and demand answers. The summer before in 2010, Toronto had hosted the G20 summit ... well Toronto didn't really host it, in fact most of the citizens of the city were appalled by the billions of wasteful tax dollars that were being spent to throw the chosen few a shindig. With the middle class quickly being eliminated by rising taxes, zero increase in their wages for decades, the cost of living skyrocketing, it became an all out war on the poor and working poor (formally known as the middle class). During the the 2010 G20 summit while the pigs feasted at the troughs .. the citizens decided to leave the compound which had been allotted to them as they were denied access to their own city and told if they dare look or listen they will be rounded up arrested without charges and thrown into detention camps which had been set up like Auschwitz outside the city's perimeter, just far enough away from the elitists so they wouldn't have to smell the peasants. While the parasites were busy gobbling caviar, drinking champagne and seeing how many Rolex's they can cram onto their arms, the citizens decided enough was enough and began voicing their discontent. The government requested the police force to take off their badges and name tags so not to be recognized and beat the citizen good and hard, men, women, children, elderly, disabled, it didn't matter ... how dare these peasants ask questions. A year later we have this gathering not as violent and the dogs of the government were forced to wear muzzles, thanks to the advent of the internet, world opinion, multi million dollar lawsuits and human right violations. This is just the beginning of the end, the writing is on the wall, the citizens now know that revolution is imminent and only a matter of time. I am prepared to do whatever I must to ensure the freedom and liberties of a free society are kept and that we can once again breath and show compassion. With a club in one hand and a camera in the other I will be there to document these changes, with a little luck I can drop the club before I drop the camera.
